Hello All,

I was looking for a Travel Agency that can handle all of the travel needs of me and my fiancee. I have done a few searchs and there are a ton of agents out there. One the concerns I have is the fact that I can not book a one way flight from the Philippines to the US using the standard sites like priceline, and I would like to have a agent handle the bookings and what not. I am also worried about getting ripped off by a agent. I have heard that most of them charge a lot and do not get the best deals by a long shot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do your price research and then have her book directly with the airline. That is most sure way to avoid losing your money.

Beside that the only travel agent I know of that has always been secure for me... Was the SWAGMAN agency inside the SWAGMAN

hotel. About a block from the US consulate. Although, I have only used them for domestic travel.

Or for that matter, use the travel agency in any major hotel.

FYI... I booked my wife's one way ticket as follow...

1. Used KAYAK to find the best price

2. Booked directly with Continental Airlines.

3. Made a copy of my credit card... Just in case asked for... "Note: They did not request it at check in"

4. Met her at the airport here..

Good Luck,

Regards,

I second this. We bought Patty's ticket for San Francisco through Albie Sullano and it was PAL for $625.00 which included a first time immigrant discount for Patty.

Not sure if it applies in your case (depends on itinerary/carrier) but sometimes the best return fare is better than a one-way fare. May be worth checking..
