Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I gave my lawyers all the paperwork requested on the checklist to turn into the NVC and i got an email confirmation from them saying they received it a few weeks ago. As I was waiting to be approved, I called the NVC automated system and found out that there was missing information so i checked with the laywers and they said that they forgot to submit something. Awesome......anyway....my question is do i have a long wait ahead of me since my missing info was just received by the NVC last friday? i know each case is different but typically do they review it right away and finish the case since they already started reviewing my file or does it get put on the shelf and delt with later? Does anyone have an idea of a general timeframe i'm looking at?

Across,

For the last three months my wife and I have been in the same situation. Missing information from NVC. THIS happened TWICE!!!The problem was that they needed her original BirthCert and it was lost by the post office while sending it, so she had to go get a new one and send it here, which in all took almost 3 months. (along with some financial documents).

After I sent all the documents to the NVC that they needed, it took 25 days before they confirmed and reviewed it. That was today. So from what I hear, we are looking at another 2 months, give or take, before an interview date is set...

This is the most draining, horrible process ive ever encountered. And its making my life miserable. Thank God there's others out there...just hang in there, and keep me posted.
