I came here to earn a teaching certificate, then I figured I'd head back down south. I wasn't counting on a job offer on my second day in town. The pay/hours were on the low end, so like a good Capitalist I told them I wanted twice as much and they said OK! Now I've got ANOTHER school in the mix, with 3 weeks left in the course.

You were right. I didn't get into the city that much at Tet. Now that I'm settled in I'm finding that I can live here easily. I few things are more expensive, but overall my costs are about the same and I'll actually end up doing much better financially.

What's not to like in Hanoi!

I just got through eating a delicious breakfast with a raven haired beauty. I swear I think I've died and gone to Heaven sometimes.
