Case Complete to Interview London

Hi,

We got our case complete on the 09/12/11 and I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to when we could expect to be scheduled for our interview in London. The NVC said they are scheduling all appointments for October this week, and I was just wondering if anyone has any idea if there is a big back log from August, or if anyone who received their 'case complete' in September has received an interview date yet?

Good Luck everyone!

You might get an October interview. I can't figure out their scheduling system.. I'm not sure their is logic to it.

I got CC on 8/25, and found out on 9/12 that Ben has a 10/14 interview.

I know someone on here got CC on 8/22 and found out during the 1st week of September that they had a 10/13 interview.

I also remember someone getting a 8/23 CC and getting a 10/20 interview date and finding out about their date the 1st week of September.

Someone else got a 9/4 or 9/7 CC date and found out this week that they had a 10/14 interview date (same as mine).

So you probably will get one in October but I can't figure out a formula to know for sure.

Great, Thank-you, Yes we have learnt to call rather than wait for e-mails, does anyone think calling to enquire speeds up receiving an interview date?

Yeah it really is confusing, the lady at the NVC told us that they spend the first two weeks of every month scheduling interviews for the following month, so as long as you receive your CC within the first two weeks you should be all set for the following month. However, if you fall outside these first two weeks you have to wait for the next month's scheduling window. So I guess they are scheduling all CC cases from the end of August and the beginning of September for October at the moment. But who knows... Congrats on receiving your Interview date though!

I read somewhere that so as long as your paperwork and all of your fees are paid by the 2nd week of the month you will get an interview for the following month. Good Luck!

That would be amazing, best of luck to you too!

I walked past the embassy yesterday between having my medical and a really nice cabernet sauvignon (large glass) at Balls Brothers and it strangely made me feel excited. I guess at the beginning you look up at a mountain of paperwork and wonder how you'll ever get it done, and now we're so close it'll be there before we know it! :D

Yep, had it yesterday. You don't actually need an interview date in order to do it, just your case number. It took about 45 mins and cost me (deep breath) £273!! But that was because I have slightly more money than sense (which isn't a lot!) and didn't look into what vacs I needed. They jab you, x-ray your boobs and then look down your trousers - no word of a lie!

You got yours booked yet?

Oh that sounds horrid. Well they told me I needed my interview letter to have the medical but maybe they just say that... I'm getting my vaccinations sorted this week so maybe I'll try and book a medical, do they give you the results there and then or post them to the embassy?

Knightsbridge medical are fine without interview letter (their website says 'if you have one').

The lady was really lovely that did the last bit of it, and told me it all looked good, and pending the blood results it would be fwd to the embassy in 4 days. I'm confident it will be ok, of course you never know what's lurking inside but I've had tests regularly over the years and they've all been clean. So you get a fairly good idea if there's something to worry about.
