Hi all,

Can someone please help me in understanding what does a red flag means during K1 visa process?

Red flags are things that during the process that can slow it down or cause the application to be denied. Such as documents that have misspelled names, incorrect dates, convictions (felony's), etc. You must try to avoid these are best you can by checking and double checking your applications(ex. i-129) and that they correspond with the documents(ex. birth certificate). Good Luck!

Rejected tourist visa to the USA, could be a red flag. However if you have sufficient evidence to show that your marriage is not for immigration purposes you should be fine.
