Hi folks... i have a hugh problem and i need help!!!! I'm a USC and just recently petition for my mother. She got approved and is due to leave jamaica in december 2011. The problem is that i have a 27 year-old sister with epilesy and some mental problems. My mother has taken care of her all her life and now that she has to leave the country we have no one to take care of her. I tried to obtain a visiting/medical visa for her but was denied.( the reason was that my mother did not explain her conditions good enough). what esle can I do. I dont want to leave my sister. I know my mom can come here and petition for her but that will take 5-8 years. we cannot leave her for that amount of time... help

Seconded.

She should stay with her daughter.

Normally medical visa are only for the temp period like if someone is coming for surgery etc.

I would say the same thing I mean you were aware of this situation when you applied for your mother.

You were aware that your sis would have to be left alone, either your mom can stay back or you can pay someone to take care of her.
