Hi :)

I am not quite there yet, we haven't even started our process, but I am a proud member of this site and often just read through things.

This summer is the first time I met my boyfriend, in April I booked a flight ticket and left my home at the end of June to finally meet him. I am still here while I am writing this and won't be leaving until September 22nd.

I had a bit of problems at the Homeland Security, because they were quite sure I was going to either stay here in the US or work here, but everything turned out well, they just told me I am not allowed to work here. So my problem is that they took away my flight ticket (I have an electronic flight ticket and got some copies of it, so this won't be a problem), my boarding pass! And this is what worries me. They took away my boarding pass and as I heard, boarding passes are a primary evidence of us meeting, which would be great to have, but they took it away from me at Homeland Security. Will a copy of flight ticket work instead of a boarding pass? I am of course planning on saving those I get on my way back home.

I am very scared we (in case we ever start this process) won't have enough primary evidence. First of all because we are both pretty young and cannot really afford going to hotels together and fly over the ocean to see each other very often.

I would be very grateful if anyone could write down a list of primary evidence, so I can start saving things. :)

bye, n

Do you have a stamp in your passport? Otherwise, receipts from businesses and places in the US will work too (can be a restaurant etc).

hi,ur very brave to be there to visit ur bf,it is cool that u got the chance to be there.

it is so hard for me to visit my bf as a chinese.

so after he visited me, we applied the k1 visa<fiance visa>

we just started on july, wait for P2 now,

when u started to appli for k1, all u need is the passport copy of u and him, and, some pics that u 2 took together, and air ticket stuff to show that u 2 met in person, some ticket to go to park or the bill at hotel is helpful too,and need some talk record like emails and phone records, and applying fee as 340 usd,and the form G325a<both of u>,and i129f form for him to fill ,my advise is u better take some pics with his family and friends as evidence.i read a lot of imfor about K1 ,so i know how to prepare,

good luck,girl!!!

Well I have a question about finances. This will be quite a problem I think.

My boy's grandpa has a company and he only works for him sometimes (it's construction so he makes good money) and we will certainly have enough to pay the fees, but since we both only work in our spare time *we are still in school*. Does that mean we will need a co-sponsor or whatever it's called. :)

And yes, we have been to six flags in St. Louis (Missouri). I did not know there was one in Colorado too. :D

Use your debit/credit card while you are there and keep those receipts.

Take pictures with his family and photocopy the stamps in your passport.

You also have to list all visits to the US in the I-129F and this one will be listed. When I had my K1 interview my interviewer was training a new person and he pulled up pictures of me at CBP on my previous visit to the US...so they have that info too! :)

Good job being prepared. My husband and I lived together in Scotland before we decided to move to the US so I didn't have to think about such things on a visit. If you are organised, you'll be fine :)

Have fun!

One thing, I can't pay with my card here, because it's Maestro and most places do not accept it. I can only get my money on ATMs, so that's what I'm doing. Plus, they hardly let me pay for anything. When he gets back from work, I'm going to ask him about the receipts from Six Flags, it would be a good thing to have those, since there is my name and his as well on it.

Your bank statement will have record of you withdrawing money from the US on specific dates, you can include copies of this in order to help build your case.

Do the Six Flags tickets have your names on them? That's the only way they'd be helpful I think. I guess even if they don't you can include a picture of you two there along with the tickets to establish date.
