Hi all,

I have a question. do i need to carry my conditional permanat resident card all the time with me or the state ID/driver's liscense are enough for my proof of residency.

My friends advice is to make a copy of the permanent resident card since you got your state/driver's liscense is enough as a proof as your identification. She brought with her permanent resident card everyday until one unfortunate day, someone stole her bag. She applied for the replacement of her PRC, and she went all sending application, biometrics and up to now she's still waiting....she sent her replacement application December 2006 :huh:

That is good advice.

I can only imagine the hasle one has to go through to get the card replaced..
