Hi,

I checked my status online and it's placed in line for an interview. Did anyone have an idea when?.......My GC & DL are expiring Sep 28, 2011. Do i have to renew GC? or try to get extention stamp. How to get it?

Thx

You might still make it for interview and maybe ask the IO for stamp. Notices are usually sent 30 days in advance. Otherwise, set up an INFOPASS appointment and attempt to get a stamp on your passport while your case is pending. Take all the paperwork you have so far, I'd even get a screen shot of your status and show it to them.

Wow you only filed in August and already got an interview appointment? That was quick! A lot will depend on which local office you attend. Check out the August filers thread here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/321956-n-400-august-2011/page__st__120 and look at the last few months filers threads for those attending your local office to get an idea how long it'll take.
