Hey guys, how much detail did you guys provide for the how you met letter? I can be very long winded. Did y'all pepper it with how much you love each other and such?

I was precise and to the point...and I didn't require anymore space than what they provided on the Form I-129F, #18. I feel they just want to make sure you met in person as that's the requirement for the I-129F, I don't know that you need to provide the "mushy" stuff :wub:, but that's certainly up to you. I did not provide the "mushy" stuff at all, and I had no issues. :D

Hey all, well fiance' sent me her docs, etc, today via FedEx, should be here on friday.

I have completed the G325A and the I-129F, still have to do the 'how we met letter', I followed the pre filled suggestion on question 18 and will use blank sheet and attach it. For fiance letter of intent to marry, the USCIS address, what to put there? The next place where it shows United States Department of State

United States Consulate, [name of country where Embassy is located]

[Embassy Address]

My fiance is Filipina and lives in Manila, So would the area in red be Philippines and the US Embassy address in Philippines? Rest I think I can figure out, lol.

And I also guess the I-129F cover letter as well? Sample letter explains it pretty well except for address of service center?

Thanks, you guys have been a vast help so far.

You're the man.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

This is what I sent, no address; just exactly as you see below, with my signature. There was no prob. We have visa already:

July 3rd, 2011

To whom may it correspond:

This is to state that I continue my support to the application for a K-1 visa on behalf of my fiancée <her name> and as well, I continue planning and intend to marry and live together with her, within 90 days of her arrival to the US after being approved for a K-1 visa

Ok, well I filled in the 'how we met' portion.

Besides proof reading my g/f papers when they get here tomorrow, and going over mine again...I am down to the passport style pic and also the other pics for proof. I have a million on my phone, a bunch on my laptop...I've not done this before, but I guess I can create an account and transfer pics from my puter to Walgreens, (or someplace like that), and pick them up later?

I put mine on a USB and walked them in. The self help software on the printing picture machine was so good, that it took no time to select and print. I think I went to a CVS if I am not mistaken.

@jetdoc

You will probably want to familiarize yourself with info from such as the below webpages, especially if you will be providing photo yourself.

http://travel.state.gov/passport/pptphotoreq/pptphotoreq_5333.html

http://travel.state.gov/passport/pptphotoreq/photocomptemplate/photocomptemplate_5297.html

http://travel.state.gov/passport/pptphotoreq/photoexamples/photoexamples_5300.html

The first page above has a photo tool; you can find similar online tools and DaleFlorida's suggestion of using thumbdrive/USB and going to Walgreens/CVS or similar is good idea, too. Even though your I-129f goes to USCIS initially you might as well know now that Manila embassy wants to see ears showing in passport style photos which isn't clear from requirements on above links. This ears-showing requirement I and my fiancee found out by hard personal experience. Your fiancee will be submitting more photos near/at the time of her interview. --RK
