Timeline is based only on the people who fill out their timeline on these forums.. I know I have seen people get NAO2 in 60 days. It took me 150 days.. They say 5 months.. If you get approved in 90 days that is great .. but then you will bog down at NVC.. Many of these people who were appproved NOA2 in 60 - 90 days are waiting 30 plus days at NVC to get a case number.. I got mine in 8 days..

Be patient the process will take its course :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

8 months is not a horror story.. My wife got her Visa in 8 months and 1 week. From the beginning people on this forum told me it was an 8-10 month process

05-11-2010 Request for Evidence on both the I129F and I130
07-01-2010 Case Transferred to Vermont Service Center
10-20-2011 Contacted Ombudsman
02-07-2012 Case denied after almost 3 years =(
03-07-2012 Appeal Filed!
01-20-2013 Contacted Ombudsman again...

06-25-2013 EOIR Appeal Review

USCIS says it takes on average 5 months. Your not even there yet.

Your also a border MENA country. You should be prepared for longer wait times.

MENA is Middle East, North Africa...wait times tend to be longer in those countries, and also in some of the countries that border those countries like Turkey does
