Got a question now, you guys are saying the Notice of approval is usually in the envelope with the EAD card. Is this the AOS approval or the EAD approval? I would assume EAD but just making sure because it's sort of silly to put the EAD Approval in an enveloppe with the card as receiving the card obviously means you got approved.

It is just the EAD approval notice...the AOS one comes with the green card:)

I noticed a couple of my fellow September 2010 K1 filers in here with September 12 Biometrics appointments. That happens to be our day as well. It will be exactly 364 days from when I sent in the K-1

I just got my interview notice last week and I'm going to have my interview on December 8! I'm hoping that I would get my greencard before this year ends!

just called USCIS and they put me in service request for my EAD... and told to wait after 15 days... :(

Hi,

Did USCIS advise what this service request may accomplish and can anyone request this? I'm thinking of calling.

I filed AOS, EAD and AP 8/17/2011 and had biometrics 10/05/2011. Had no touches on my case online since 09/02/2011.

Me neither, i filed late august and still haven't got my EAD. Other people in the Sept thread have already started to get their EAD email notices even though they filed a week or so after me. But from what ive heard, you can't really put in an info pass for missing EAD until after 90 days

After wondering why my husband haven't received AOS/EAD/AP updates yet while so many people are getting approved, I asked him to track his case on USCIS and low and behold AP and EAD were both approved yesterday!!! YEAH!!! PTL!!! He actually never received an email or text. But atleast we now know we'll not need an interview...

09/15/1994 First met around this time

10/15/1998 Got separated...

12/05/2008 Met again and officially started dating

07/31/2010 129F package sent out to VSC

08/02/2010 129F package received at VSC

08/06/2010 Check cleared (date on check 08/05/2010 @ Lewisville, TX)

yeah u better request for a service... go and call it worked for me.. see? i just asked then a service request just this afternoon and tonight my EAD is for production already... :yes::thumbs:

Looking at your dates, arent you only like 66 days in? Im asking because my filing dates are pretty much the same, I wanna say Aug 29. Also what options do you push when you call and how do you ask? I just called just then and i followed the prompts for case status on my i765 and it just read me a message and nothing else, except to change an address if i moved.

boo. Just tried calling and the lady said since i am under 75 days, she wasn't able to put in a service request on my EAD application. And day 75 happens to be my i485 interview day so i guess i can ask then.

but CONGRATS on getting your EAD nonetheless!

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

Sorry for a late updates. I just got too busy lately. But I already got my GREEN CARD, YAY! since monday. It?s so relieving that I am eligible to get some things done like a citizen can do. Now, wish I could find a job too soon. God bless everyone on your AOS journey.

08/08/2011 -Notice Receipt for AOS, EAD, AP via email & text msgs.

08/08/2011 -Cashier's Check cashed

08/11/2011 -EAD & AP NOA received from mail; Notice Date: 08/07/2011

08/22/2011 - Checked Status Online: Initial Review with a notice : On August 22, 2011, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 APPLICA TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJU STATUS as undeliverable. This may have serious ef on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-528 update your mailing address for this notice to be sent.

I called twice and update my mailing address.

08/26/2011 - I received a letter in mail from USCIS NBC about the status of my recent calls about the service I requested (Update my address). It said they have updated my address in their systems and on my applications.

08/31/2011 - Initial Review: transferred I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing.
