Does ne one at all have any idea whats up with these AP's in morocco??? Up until July there were plenty of visa issuances. and ppl were getting thier visas in two days like they say. Now their taking like months and months to finish the ap. Is it just a second background check or what? or does it depend on the case? or are they just getting stricter cuz of the summer months and they usually have alot of petitions at this time? I'm dying to know. my fiances interview in on Sept 21 and It would rally suck if he passes his interview and then gets suck in Ap for months.

221(G) as I know it has 2 kind

- 221(G) request evidence

CO ask more evident as soon as they send it CO will give the visa

- 221(G) AP

This step can take couple months to 1 Year

Mostly ppl who got AP, CO won't believe in their relationship.

Some ask for more evident, some after send evident has to interview again

Thats not always true... in places like pakistan, morocco and other MENA countries (or countries considered in the T zone....) even if the co knows your genuine they have mandatory ap where they HAVE to do background checks, they can complete within a few weeks to months (somtimes longer if a hit is on the name or other issues have come into play) ... our CO told my husband he was in this but there was nothing he could do to prevent it as it ws mandatory for islamabad that everyone faces this from this country at some level.

It totally depends upon the case, we had to submit another document because i was very close to the 125%, I was over but they wanted another document just in case. so that required a step for review now we are in name checks

Each case is different, sometimes it is to verify the relationship, sometimes its to get a document that's missing from the file or more evidence of income or sometimes its simply the mandatory process for the embassy ....

Morocco is a very difficult consulate from everything I've read so be prepared for background checks and verification for relationship but hope for the best
