Biometrics appointments are scheduled based on your local office's availability dates so your office might be very busy. If it's been more than 30 days since your NOA date, then you should call USCIS.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

It certainly can be! Ours took 2.5 months. It just depends on how busy your local office is and how long it's taking to process things. If you search for similar timelines here you can see how long people in the same location as you are waiting.

Good Day Everyone...

I have a question and I hope you can help me. I filed I-485 and USCIS received on the 18th of July. It's been a month from now and I still don't have a biometrics appointment. Is this normal?

Big thanks! :)

It should be about a month, you can call USCIS.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Hi!

I called USCIS and explained my problem. The representative says that he will send email to the service center where my application was transferred and he told me to wait for a call or email from the service center within 30 days and if they didn't call me, I should call them (USCIS) back :o ........
