Filling DS-230 on behalf of IR1-CR1

I am filling DS-230 having problem with following questions will some body help me out that what info they want in following questions.

31a. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will accompany you to the United States now. (What they want to know ? should i provide here info of my wife ?)

31b. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will follow you to the United States at a later date. (What they want to know ? should i provide here info of my wife ?)

- In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States? (Should i answer this question or not ?)

At the end should i fill out form with caps letters or Caps small together.

If you are going to foreign country and accompaning your spouse, then it is you from 14 that will be in 31a.

If your spouse has children that will be accompanying her, then those need to be entered in 29 and will have to be included in 31a (if going to US later, then will be in 31.b).

Else it is "None" for both 31a and 31b

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

If you are going to foreign country and accompaning your spouse, then it is you from 14 that will be in 31a.

I understand 31b which is N/A for me, please explain more 31A still can't understand.

If someone will accompany her in the US NOW... Are you coming with her when she enter the US? if not, the answer. is NONE!

Just put UNDECIDED or TO BE DETERMINED on that question. Dont' leave blank to some questionnaires... Make sure you also answer correctly the line 30... That's where we made a mistake. Read it thoroughly all the questionnaires... Edited by rhenzhen

She is already in U.S i will come out of country that means answer will be N/A ?

So you are the beneficiary. Right? Your wife is the petitioner. Just put "NONE" But if you prefer N/A. it's up to you... It should be fine also.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
