Hi everyone. First I will like to thank everyone for the great information and advise. I'm new at this and need some help. This is our situation my fiance is getting ready to schedule his medical exam. He called two DR. from the list of Dr. we got from the embassy checking on fees. They can give him a straight answer because it all depends on the type of shots he needs. The problem is that he has all the shot because he works for the department of health. The Dr. are telling him that most likely he is going to get the all again because he need the shot giving in the U.S.A because the ones they get in our country is not as strong as the ones in the U.S.A and based on that they'll charge him accordingly. Those that sound right or are they trying to get us to pay more. Has anyone experience this.

All the doctors try to get a cut of the cake. It's the same over here... they say vaccines are not the same, but it's just b.s. vaccines are not made in your country but a foreign laboratory, so how the doctors would know? You should try to another doctor, or there are just two of them in Nicaragua?

I called Dr. Esparza and they gave me a flat fee of $185. I brought my vaccination record and they gave me more shots anyway. Not sure if there's a difference in the Medical Exam for CR-1 (me) and K-1s.

Thank you for your help. He is ready for his interview on August 30. Prey for us. God bless you .
