My wife and I will hopefully mail out our I-130 petition tomorrow. Anyways I wanted to make sure the address I have is correct for express mail.

It depends on the mode of mail. This is fine for FEDEX/ UPS.... If you are using USPS, which I suggest is the best, send to - it is delivered directly into the post box of USCIS - it is fast and safe.

True. But take the lockbox advantage and also the overnight of USPS is much cheaper than FEDEX/ UPS.

USPS places the packet directly in the NVC box and NVC only has the key to this box, so it is very safe and f ast delivery.

Hello, I had to ask because I changed the shipping of our I-130 petition from express to priority mail. I was intending to use express mail and the gal at the post office it would arrive in Chicago on Tuesday with a cost of $27 from St. Paul, Minnesota. I asked what day would priority arrive and she said Monday with a cost of $7 but I had to go home and get the lock box address. Thank you.

When I sent the file to Chicago, I sent it USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation. Delivery Confirmation is only an extra 70 cents.

Effective tomorrow (8/15), US Embassies and Consulates will no longer accept I-130's. If there is no USCIS field office in a foreign country that a USC is presently residing in, then the I-130 will have to be sent to the Chicago lockbox.
