Another August filer here. I sent packet on August 15th and got NOA1 on August 18 stating it was sent to the CA office- now patiently waiting for NOA2 :whistle:

Why Oh Why does the processing time in the Immigration timelines at CSC seems to be either stuck at one date and now going back in time??! It was May 22, May 21 and now May 16!!!! While VSC is now at July 4!!! I'm being worried right now that we won't have our NOA2s by November :( I was planning to hopefully move end of February/March, it did seem realistic to me... What do you think??

Sorry for my ignorance. where do you check those dates and what do they mean? In my case I'm trying to hold my breath until the 5 months are passed and then see what happens.November might be overly optimistic (not trying to discourage you though...)

You can check those dates under the Immigration Timelines tab on this website. Currently, you will see this:

Processing Dates

for Common Forms:

I-130 for IR1/CR1

CSC: May 16, 2011

VSC: July 4, 2011

Those dates are based on the average from users on this website, for people who update their timelines. It means that CSC(California service center) is currently processing applications with a NOA1 from May 16, and Vermont July 4.

As for November, well ... they say 5 months because they want to get it done by 5 months, but usually it seems to take less time than that. You should update your timeline, if you did, you would see something like this at the end of it:

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between November 17, 2011 and November 26, 2011*. (This is from my own timeline). And obviously, it is an estimate. Well i hope this helped you!

We completely feel your anguish. When I went to visit my husband back in August, I just didn't want to leave but he kept saying that good things come to those who wait. All we can do now is sit tight and wait, and all of us within the VJ community can support each other as it's now out of our hands and we can only act when USCIS give us something to act on. Hopefully, it will be sooner rather than later that all of our cases progress. :thumbs:

How pathetic is it that I was very excited when I received my NOA1 hard copy and realized the notice date was August 26th instead of the 29th!?!? I know 3 days aren't going to make any differece in this process, but it still made me happy! :lol:
