But like all tragic events, the local media, or even national media will focus on that one topic whereas it would only be a leading story in another country. Much like a deer getting tangled in someones fence might make news in Kansas, it won't get noticed in L.A..

A lot of people live in Washington DC and I don't think them to be any more knowledgeable of politics than someone in, say, Los Angeles.

I'm for you having the right to do so. It doesn't necessarily mean I'm opposed to you getting PWNED immediately after.

A great example of this is the protesters who showed up to protest a soldier's funeral and then got beat down and/or arrested. I support their right to protest and I'm glad the police are looking into the beatings.
