Finally! Mailed last packet--DS-230 via Express Mail today!

Finally! We mailed our final packet, DS-230 today via USPS Express mail overnight shipping! A whopping $18.30 postage...LOL!

Hoping and praying that there will be no RFE. I'm really excited and nervous! My wife will have a medical exam this coming Monday. She's going to do a walk-in Medical Exam. I'm confident that she can pass this medical exam! Oh, can't wait to see a "SIF" on log in page... Then, interview!!!

07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.

Congrats. I too sent my last packet but the AOS packet today (AOS fee status took 7 days to become PAID) - already sent DS-230 on 7/31.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

Congrats! :thumbs: My IV fee just cleared today and I had mailed the DS-230 in advance on advice of the NVC operator. Looks like a lot of VJers will be crossing the finish line together. I was hoping for an August interview, but from what I've been reading September is more realistic. At least the end is in sight.

It depends on each consulate. For us, we can expect a late September, if we are lucky.

I've gone through some other timelines trying to make heads or tails of guessing when the interview will be. Even looking at a single country and sorting by NVC complete the interview dates are all over the place! I've read that if it is before the 20th of the month when they set your date they set it for the following month (so August 5 would be a september date) but if it is after the 20th they do it two months out (so august 23rd would be an October interview).. Dependent on space at the embassy of course...

True. Even in one country, there are difference between Consulates (example Bombay to Madras in India).

It is alright :D - there is no way NVC might have entered your I-864 into the system in 4 days. definitely not at the speed they now are now working.

well just relax for now in .2 to 3 weeks just check the pay site for the SIF.......then call to verify, then another week (maybe ) to get a interview date, then if lucky like us a whole month waiting for the interview........:angry: but hey ours is monday the 8th......:dance: it does happen!!! gud luck
