Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition.

We received the same email and got our case # within the week. It'll be on the way soon.

Yup! This is the standard answer that NVC sends. NVC is currently averaging 30-35 calendar days to get a manila case #

for approved K-1 from California Service Center. You will eventually get it. It took 33 days for us, so just hang in there.

Once you get your case #, everything happens pretty fast. See our timeline.

While we didn't receive that message our NOA2 for Carlo's (stepson of USC Petitioner) was 6/30/11, NVC received our case and gave us the MNL number of 7/28/11. You're almost there.

the NVC. Once we have received your petition, the appropriate agent

I got my number today from speaking with someone at NVC. The automated system had said they had not recieved my information yet and it had been the 15 business days so I spoke with someone and they gave me my case number. Our I-797 was dated July 13th so according to your timeline our dates are very similar so it should be soon. Another item today was they did not show an email address for my fiance' so I gave them her email so the embassy could contact her by email instead of regular mail, maybe this will speed things up. Thanks but you are from VSC. this means yours is taking less time then mine to get to NVC. (you are almost right next door.) CSC has been taking 20 to 22 business days for the 2 plus months. So far no one has gotten a good reason as to why. It just took 18 business days for July 8. But we are not sure yet. The big problem here is the transport from CSC to NVC. No one knows how it works or the process from one to the other. This is a hand-off from one department to another. This is where YOU are responsible to pay attention to your case. No one else is. USCIS closes the case once approved. NVC has no idea of the case until entered into the system. You are the ONLY check and balance for the hand-off. thanks for the help. I hope you are right. It would be nice to see whatever is broken fixed.
