I did step aerobics once and I loved it! But I haven't gotten the courage up to actually go and take it again cause I fell off the step the first time and the instructor asked if I was ok and that I should try to have more balance! Oh well! I'll go sometime!

I have never broken anything, but I have fallen over like a big oaf doing step aerobics many, many, many times.

I recommend swimming instead

I'm sorry to hear about your ankle karo ... i too know how that feels, it don't feel nice thats for sure. I have a bad habit of rolling onto my ankle while I walk. I did this about 3-4 times, each time spraining it and by the fifth time it broke. Hang in there and I wish you happy healing!

Cankles.

Yeah, with cankles like mine, I've never even had a serious sprain. The worst I've ever had was a twist, which only made me limp for like a day or two. And when you combine my inherent clutziness with the heels I like to wear, my ankles do take a beating.

Only prob is: cankles aren't the sexiest thing out there, are they?

i'm surprised that you haven't had ankle reconstruction yet!!!! that's what usually happens after multiple ankle breaks .... the tendons just aren't as strong as they used to be!
