I am an F1 Student currently adjusting status now that we are married (Hes American, I am Canadian, which also renders the overseas categories as off topic and confusing to me).

The i-765 is optional according to instructions, but Id like to submit it so that I can work in the future. Question 16 on the I-765 is completely confusing - I was never a fiance visa so the K catagories are out. Best number I can see is a 9 - but that feels off somehow too :( Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank You.

The code is C9. Here is the VJ Guide for your process. http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2 Once you get the GC, you don't need the EAD anymore. Good luck.
