Hi,

What is the best way to book my fiancee's flight to the states? I am planning to go to Manila and get them. The travel agent I talked to says they can not book flight for non-us passport holders.

Hi,

What is the best way to book my fiancee's flight to the states? I am planning to go to Manila and get them. The travel agent I talked to says they can not book flight for non-us passport holders.

We looked at Philippines travel agencies, also Hawaiian air (my favorite) many many places and ended up getting Jenie Bee's flight through expedia. I wanted her POE to be Portland, that was a requirement. The price was good and no baggage fee from MNL to USA through Delta. So we are happy. When I go to the Philippines, Hawaiian air usually has the best rates but you have a 24 hour layover in Honolulu, no biggy for me..

My Fiance in the states already booked for me a ticket through Delta skymiles and already sent me an itirenary and with my name in passengers information.. but his name is still there due to its his card that is used maybe.. just wondering..

If you have the time, check with Delta at the airport to make sure you can board without any problems.

I book direct with continental....use my CC...and she doesnt need prove with them, just the E-ticket!

01/31/2011...receive I-130
02/05/2011...get a e-mail notice of NOA-1...states case transferred to CSC
02/08/2011...check clears my bank
02/10/2011... rec. hardcopy NOA-1 in mail...priority date..01/31/2011.....sit back relax and ride this slow mule!!
02/14/2011... touched ( it must have fallen on the floor )..hehe
05/12/2011...NOA-2 OMG...98days u kidding me!!!!!!!

05/26/2011... finally got NVC case number...
05/28/2011... receive DS-3032 in e-mail/e-mailed the DS-3032 back
05/28/2011... receive AOS fee bill/ and paid online.
06/01/2011... AOS fee bill shows paid.

06/03/2011... IV-bill generated and sented by e-mail
06/04/2011... Paid IV fee bill/ in progress

06/09/2011... Confirmed del at 11:10am signed by N visa center.

I called delta and can book with them that way. I will be doing a round trip for myself and need 3 one-ways, on the same flight, and sitting together, so I guess it delta.

I want our POE to be Detroit, then a short 1 hour flight to Baltimore.

My fiance booked for me using his CC through DELTA also (MLA-Tokyo/NRT-JFK 19hrs including 2 hrs layover in NRT). Will be travelling alone and i like it, I know it would be nice experience! :thumbs:

My fiance has two daughters to tend to and has never flow, let along, flown internationally, so I gonna go get them. Besides, it will the last time I go to the Philippines for while.
