Hi guys i just wanna ask about my case here. when i signed the ds 156 and submitted it on my interview last week, i put my child as follow to join.Then on my interview the consul found out that my child is elgible for US citizenship and she ask me to apply for crba before they will issue my visa.My question is,if my son got his US passport and crba can we travel together at the same time going to US since i declare him(my son) on my ds 156 that he'll follow to join?Opinions,advices are appriciated!thanks

You cant bring him with you unless he has his US passport.

You apply for CRBA and the US passport when you get it you show the consul and they issue your visa. When you get your visa and passport back then you can travel with your child to the USA.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

ok thanks INKY! once we got the CRBA and US passport i will submit the photocopy of crba and US passport of my child at 2go courier so that they will issue my visa....but im just worried if i can bring him with me going to US since i declared him as follow to join in my ds 156 during my interview at USEM Manila.

April 04, 2011: CRBA and US passport on hand

April 2011: SSN Application sent (mailed original docs thru 2GO)

April 29, 2011: SSN card on hand

March 05, 2011: I-129F packet sent

March 14, 2011: NOA1

May 20, 2011: NOA2(approved in 67 days from NOA1, with no RFEs)

June 24, 2011: NVC received approved petition from USCIS

June 29, 2011: Approved original petition left NVC to US Embassy-Manila

July 15, 2011: Eligibility letter received from US Embassy-Manila(dated July 11, 2011)

October 26 - June 5, 2012: SLEC trap!!! (DOT tx to vaccine administration)

June 7, 2012: Interview (APPROVED!) :)

June 18, 2012: Visa picked up at the embassy

June 20, 2012: POE in Detroit

"follow to join"?- not really a big deal though. it's supposed to be "follow to join" or "will travel with you" if you want him get a K2 visa.

BUT....

since he is already eligible for a US citizenship, he can have a passport that would let him travel to and from the US anytime.

PLUS...

you said on your pm that you already waiting for his crba and passport to be released, so no worries then. don't sweat that too much, ur fine sis. Just wait for the docs. God bless. :thumbs:
