After being so nervous for my interview on Wednesday it went a lot easier than I thought. My appointment was at 9 but I got there at 8 and after a short wait for security I had my number and was seated by 8.15. I was waiting till about 10.20 before I was called up for the first time to submit my documents. I then went up to the window handed in my documents, photos and fingerprints. I was given a pink form to fill my postage details out on for delivery and went to sit back down. I had to ask someone for a pen and filled this out. Started reading my book again while settling in for what I thought would be another long wait, while thinking I should of brought a second book. 5-10 mins later I was called up again and was thinking they needed more documents off me and it was actually for my interview. I had to re do my fingerprints, was given back my original birth certificate and police record back. Then I was asked to raise my right hand and swear I was telling the truth. I was then asked to write my fiances name and sign a form, at this point I believe my hand was shaking and I was asked how we met. After answering this one question I was asked if we were getting married and I said yes on the 10th of September and I was then told I was approved. I think I said thank you about 5 times and then went to pay for delivery.

I was told I would get my passport back and the envelope to open at poe and I was done.

So glad that it is done and so happy that I will be with my fiance soon.

I was just wondering do they give me a form when I go through immigration? or do they just take the stuff off me and send me on my way?

Thanks so much and thanks for all the support and questions I have had answered on here. I am sure I will have tons more for AOS.

Look in the menu at the top of the page. Click on POE in the lighter blue bar and you can read detailed experiences for your POE airport.

Congratulations. You could help other people by pasting your review in the embassy review section as well as filling in your timeline.
