Hi my wife filed for me on July 11th 2011.

from what i have seen here , she should get NOA1 in a 7-10 days right ?

Should we go for K3 after that or should we wait for IR/CR1 ?

Also we paid $420 but while reading online we realised that we have to pay another $88 for affidavite of support and also $444 for processing of immigrant application ? is this for real or are we confused ?

Yes. Don't be surprised if it's longer.

Your choice, however I suggest that you let the I-130 run its course on its own.

The affidavit of support and IV bills come due when the file reaches the NVC after approval by USCIS. AOS bill is $88 and IV bill is $404.

I see no benefit with K-3 and didn't bother about it, as most are gettinng both CR1 and K-3 apparoved on the same day and sent to NVC and at NVC the K-3 gets dropped. If K-3 gets approved earlier, you have some benefit of getting your fiancee earlier but will have to pay another 1000 or so for adjustment of status after marring withing 90 days of arrival in US. However you need to make your own decision.

Some of what you have posted here is incorrect in regards to a K3. It's a spousal visa, not a fiancee visa. K3 visa holders will have already married their USC petitioner. The OP and the USC are already married. A K3 holder is also granted a two year authorized stay when they enter and are allowed to come and go during that time. AOS and the appropriate fee are still required to obtain a green card. K3 holder would still need EAD to work while AOS is pending (someone else can correct me if I'm wrong about that).

If an I-129F was to be filed for K3, USCIS would tie it with the I-130. They would do this by pulling the I-130 from its current place in the queue and placing it with the I-129F that was just filed. USCIS typically approves both petitions at the same time. If the I-129F arrives at the NVC before the I-130, it will be assigned a case number and sent to the appropriate Embassy or Consulate in India. If the I-129F arrives at the NVC at the same time or after the I-130, then it will be administratively closed leaving only the I-130 for CR-1 active.

In regards to the NVC, if things are managed properly on the petitioner's end, things can move somewhat quickly. There is obviously no control on how things work on the NVC end.

ok understood. But after i read some post on here about how some people got denied. I am a little worried.

So i figure i would talk about my situation a little bit and get everyones opinion.

My wife and I met online in Aug 2010. We became close and started talking on text,ims,long distance calls,emails and video chatting everyday. I can porove this with bills and statement. We talk every morning every evening non stop.

We decided to get married, nobody really proposed caus we wanted to spend our lives together. she came over April 2011 and we got married.

What i am worried about is the fact that she is 13 years older then me. But we share common intrest in music,movies and animals. Neither she nor I are religious. She likes Indian culture , i like American.

But i am worried caus the diffrence in age might look suspicious to the officer ? what do u think ?

While the age difference in of itself will not be cause for a refusal, it will be scrutinized.

You have the evidence of an ongoing relationship, keep compiling it. Did your wife include an EOR letter when she filed the petition?

Well she did explain briefly in one page letter the type of relationship we had. But She also included selected phone bills and photographs of us together out on dates, on trips etc. Finally she also included pictures of our marriage ceromoney and the reception dinner. Oh and also emails.

Is that good ?
