I've started my i-130 and had a few questions:

My wife is a US citizen. (married two weeks ago here in US)

I am a Canadian on TN status. (currently here in US, and have been for the last 10 yrs, dont plan to leave until this AOS is done)

She is the Petitioner, I am the Beneficiary- correct? (sorry if this is a really obvious question, just want to double check)

Field 14- "Date Arrived" I received my current I-94 in the mail while I was in the US. Do I use the date it arrived? do I use the I-94 valid start date, or the last time I crossed the border into the US with this I-94?

Field 22- "Your Relative is in the US and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:"

Do I put the closest local office to where I live? is this where I will go in for the AOS interview?

any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance.

1. She is the petitioner, yes.

2. The last time you crossed the border.

3. Your local office. If you are wrong about which office, it won't hurt you. They will schedule the interview at the office that has jurisdiction over your address.

Good luck!

AOS for my husband

don't forget you need to file I-130 and I-485 together in the same packet with all supporting documents.

Yes u are the beneficiary, u use whatever date is listed on ur I94, if there is anything that confuses you or ur not sure its always better to explain it on a separate piece of paper and the number of the question next so they can go through it, I only enter us one time so I put my arrival date, and yes u will put the closest uscis office as u will have ur interview there, I got confused when I filled that out too, goodluck on your aos journey

yep u all file them together if ur filing for ead it goes together too
