I hope I didn't seem like I was rubbing it in that my fiance and I are spending Christmas together. I didn't think we were going to be able to do that, but it just worked out, thank goodness. My heart goes out to all of you who don't have that opportunity. It is so hard being apart for long stretches of time.

aww no not at all, I am envious though, in a good way :)

Thank you for doing this. It doesn't seem silly to me. I'm glad to see other new members of the forum as well.

Aw I am jealous in a good way too, but very happy for you!

I know, it drags me down sometimes too :( But I try to stay positive and patient and realize that there is nothing I can do about it right now. In about a month, when we're passed the five month guideline I can start calling USCIS and drive them crazy lol. But right now, there is nothing I can really do.

Hey,

I'm sorry you guys are still waiting. You are #124 on the Berkley list. If you throw out the Mays (which most are probably approved but not reported), you would be #91. I'm sure it can't be much longer.

What is the difference between berkely's list and igor's list?

The Berkley lists are compiled from Igor's data. It's the same info, just organized chronologically by filing date. Makes it easier to see how many people (from VJ) are waiting in front of you.

Hello all,

I'm a July filer and like the rest of you, (us) I'm just trying to patiently wait for any good news (I'd settle for an NOA2) from CSC. 111 days and counting and as we're fast approaching the holidays, I fear that the processing of applications will slow down even further. Sigh

NOA1 Sent: 07/20/2011

NOA1 Received: 07/25/2011

Touched: 08/04/2011

I wish everyone the very best in their own journey and let's hope more of us receive our NOA2's.

Cheers!

I hate to bring down the mood in this forum! But, I'm just wondering...who out there has unsupportive families? It's hard to make such a big decision when nobody else thinks what you're doing is right. I'm glad we are all in this together.

How did you all meet your fiances and what were your families reactions to your engagement?

Ugh. I'm so sorry to hear that. It seems like our lives are put on hold while we wait out the bureaucracy, but of course they move on without regard. I can't express how sorry I am for your loss that certainly puts the process in a different perspective.

I hope that you will hear good news soon, and my best to you and your family, old and new.

Hi there,

I'm sorry for your loss, it must be made a little more difficult with the holidays approaching. I hope it was comforting that your fiance was able to be with you during that time?

Having said that, it seems we have the same NOA1 date and like so many others, we're forced to simply wait, be patient, yet hopeful at the same time for some good news during this holiday season. As for me, I now limit myself to one USCIS website status check a week...it was driving me crazy constantly checking and nothing changing. It's in HIS hands, that's all there is too it.

Hang in there everyone!

Cheers
