How many original copies of birth certificates needed?

Pui only brought 1 copy of her original birth certificate to the US. For her to get a marriage license, SSN#, drivers license, and AOS can she just give copies of her birth certificate or will they be wanting the original that we currently only have one copy of?

She also had clear plastic put around her original birth certificate because it looks like it is from when she was born. Will that be a problem? Thanks everybody.

You only need to send copies of documents for AOS (except the forms themselves must be original). You shouldn't need to show birth certificate for either marriage license OR SSN; rather, you will show her passport. One copy should be fine. Keep it for your records. Good luck.

Yeah, you won't need it for anything besides AOS. Passport will suffice. They assume a valid passport with an I-94 has already been validated.
