Did you ever send the originals? All documents that go to the NVC need to be originals or certified copies..you can't send originals or certified copies thru e-mail, you have to snail-mail them (or FedEx them, but you get the picture).

no i didnt send the originals because these are the instructions i received:

CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

For electronic processing, all forms and documents that we request and require from you should be scanned and e-mailed to

NVC as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The documents should be sent as attachments with your e-mail

response and not in a web file. NVC is unable to process documents submitted in web files. Forms and documents should not

be mailed through the postal service. The applicant must present all original forms and documents to the Consular officer at

the visa interview. Failure to present the required originals at the visa interview will result in a denial or delay in obtaining a

visa for the sponsored applicant. Any questions regarding your petition should continue to be directed to

NVCElectronic@state.gov.

PLEASE NOTE: No interview will be scheduled until ALL of the information requested has been emailed to the National

Visa Center.

OK - so it's a MEP casefile (Mexico Electronic Processing)

You were right to send back the stuff they asked for, via email.

Did they include any file attachment in the email to you? IF SO, you'll need to make a PDF version of that file, attach it with the other documents, resend soonish.

If no file attachment from NVC -

then, my best guess is - NVC is lagged.

For clarity, call in, get a Human, TELL the TeleOperator yer a EP casetype, and to check with a supervisor (who has higher level computer access, btw) to see if the email was actually detached, and added to the electronic casefile yet (or not).

But - maybe they not get it, really - maybe you missed the bounce message if the file size for the attachments was too large (over 15 megabytes) - so check yer filesize.

Good Luck !
