Re: the I-129F and G-325A forms, I have read posts in the past which indicated that EVERY box or space should be filled in. Even if it is only with a "None" or "N/A". Does this mean every space on a line in which the first box/space is entered as None or N/A? Let's suppose for example, that 5 years of employment history is satisfied on the first 2 lines of the employment section. If N/A is entered in the first box (Employer name and address)of the 3rd, 4th and 5th lines, do I still need to enter N/A in the boxes to the right under Occupation and the Dates from and to? Now that I have typed this, I know that it sounds a bit #######, But after months of assembling the documentation and information, I am within days of getting this in the mail. And these little things are driving me nuts. I just want this to go smoothly.

Thanking you for you help.

Example: If you had Only 2 Employers in the last 5 years which it sounds like. And there are 5 Lines to Fill-in. Write the Currant Employer and dates of Employment on Line #1. (Do Not leave out the addresses)

If there were any periods of Unemployment between the 2 Jobs, write Unemployed and give the dates . Line #2

Line #3. List the previous Employer and address as well and dates of Employment.

Line #4. N/A ( Employed: Give the Employers Name on Line #1. (Write the dates again, although repeated)

Line #5. N/A ( Employed: Give the Employers Name on Line #1. (Write the dates again, although repeated)

That covers 5 Years as required. I believe this is sufficient.

Someone Correct me if I'm Wrong.

I'm sorry, but you guys didn't get it. I understand that stuff. That's not what the question is about. I thought I was specific enough but it must not be clear. Let me put it this way. If a particular line of requested information is Not Applicable, and the line contains several boxes/spaces for different pieces of information (employer, occupation, dates from and to) pertaining to that job, do I put N/A in all the boxes/spaces or just the leading box/space (the first box/space on the left)?

All of the boxes, leave no box without a comment.

You are making this really hard on yourself. Not all members have a 129-F or 325 Form in front of us but we filled them out.

Your question is the Employment history. GO BACK 5 YEARS. "Easy".

It does not take a Rocket Scientist to get a NOA1. The NOA1 Only means: Your Paperwork was received and acceptable and they Cashed Your Check.

I already explained above.

You may have explained an answer, but to a question I didn't ask. Maybe I should have simply asked if every single, individual space needs to be filled in?

And I wasn't just referring to the employment history. The residence section has multiple boxes/spaces on the same line for an address (street, city, province, country, date from date to). Do all the boxes/spaces get an N/A, or just the LEADING box/space? I'm sorry but if no one understands this after my clarifications, then I'm wsting my time on here.

Yes, every box. Either it applies then fill it in.

If it does not apply, write N/A

Other questions on these forms will ask Yes or No

Other questions will be answered: None.

Never leave a Line blank.

Also, at the lower bottem right hand of the Form(s) Make sure that the expiration dates of the Form(s) are Currant. / They can be rejected if not Currant. Seen it happen.

It's good to ask questions so that fine with us and you.

I think your worrying to much. Theres a Long way to go.

You never asked about Residence so ####### could we know. What does the question say: I don't have the Form in front of me? How long have you been at your currant Residense and how far back do they need?

Flash/Quartercloud--

I may not be able to answer your question satisfactorily but am replying from my own perspective of having similar frustrations (and of being one of top runners up in the Global ####### Retentiveness Award Ceremony this past year :) ).

First of all, most individuals here have seemed follow the example forms on the guide page which you will find here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

Even after seeing these exammple forms, I too had questions which I asked here on VJ and got helpful answers but opinions were sometimes divided. (Yet, I noticed that those on opposite sides of these answers to fine detail questions were not hindered in their own process so...) After months of agonizing over my I-129F preparation details, I decided to do the best I could and send off what I had and if I did something wrong according to whoever looked over the packet, I figured they would let me know. Which I rationalized would be better than me delaying in sending off the packet (and as you can see by my auto-signature, I did make an error but it was remedied it fairly quick order.)

So in short: (1) use the best answer(s) you can get from VJ members (2) use the form examples as best you can (3) looks like you've researched well, so use your best judgment backed up by #'s (1) and (2) and then (4) and, most importantly, follow what is probably the best advice given by others in this thread which is not to over-analyze or get too stressed because: most likely all will be fine.

Don't know if this helped, Flash, but please do not hesitate to ask additional questions and let us know how things are going. We may all have different levels of experience/inexperience or knowledge in regards to this visa process but we each do the best we can with what we know and discover along the way.

A very sincere wish for the best of luck to you and your fiance in your own visa journey!
