how important to have the Driver license address exactly as whats on my n400 application? I want to know if I should go and change it before my interview date with IO?

If it's not the same, don't you have a little slip of paper from the DMV when you did change your address?

I mailed in my change of address to the DMV, but in CA they just ask you to attach a piece of paper with the new address, and your signature and date to your license (more accurately, to carry it with your license). We don't actually get any official piece of paper showing the change.

For my N-400, I just sent in a copy of my current license (with old address) and a note saying the address had been updated with the CA DMV. If they ask for more, I can send in a copy of my submitted DMV form but I doubt they will.

But, I do agree with the other posters - worth at least starting the process so that no questions can be asked. By the time you get your interview, the DMV should have updated your records...one hopes:-)
