Hello VJ's! I need some advice or opinion. I just got our case number today. Thank God!!! I also gave my wife e-mail address. We are now preparing our DS-3032 form. Now, here our problems.

We need to adjust her full name. When she applied for passport her Middle name is Maiden name. Her given name is Maria Desamie and I separated it when I filed for I-130. On my petition right now, It's LASTNAME, Maria(Maria as her FIRST NAME) Desamie(D. is her Middle name or MI on her I-130)

on her passport it will show LASTNAME, Maria Desamie (Maria Desamie as FIRST NAME) Barcenas (Barcenas is now her Middle/Maiden Name)

I explain it to NVC rep about the problem and NVC rep told me that the only way to fix it is to send a copy of her passport, which it will deliver this July 12. or in two weeks.

The questions I'm asking, should we wait for 2 weeks and have it fix the name first, before she e-mail our DS-3032? Also, if she-mail our DS-3032 form, should she still follow the LASTNAME, MARIA D. or the PASSPORT Complete Name that NVC haven't yet fix.

I feel like waiting for 2 weeks is like 2 months... :) Thanks in advance!!!

Strictly you should be fine using the given name in DS-3032 because that is the name they have from I-130. Once you get and provide new and correct name details, as asked, then you can start using the correct name from that time onwards.

Congrats on getting your NVC case number. What you need to do now is call up NVC and give them your email and your spouse's email and ask them to email documents rather than use snail mail. While you're on the phone, you also want to ask for the Invoice Identification Number or INN. Once you've done that, tell your spouse, beneficiary, to email the DS3032 to NVC. You can see the format to email to NVC here on this wiki.

For the DS-3032, they aren't really that strict. You can email them for any changes. But for the rest of the NVC process, you should use the short cut:

My wife and I flew through this process and her interview is set for next week on the 7th. Everything is pretty much self explanatory. Good Luck!
