receipt number always says "cannot be found"... help

Hello to all.

We got our NOA1 in email last June 22, 2011. And up to this day every time i try to update my case status in their website i always see this message "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.. Is it normal? I also tried to add it in the portfolio but it says the same thing " Validations errors".. Can anyone give me some advice on this one? I'm getting worried. TIA

I heard of someone who had the same situation as what you are having now, they cant track their petition not until they had an approval. It really happens to some, but thats no biggie. You will still be informed through email or text once your application has been approved. In my own opinion, I'd be happy if I cant track my status, cos if you can, you wont stop check it and its addicting

make sure you are typing: MSC*************** and not MCS like I was for a week! lol

i just copied the receipt they emailed me... well, i can do not to check it but my fiance is too excited to check it, hoping there's no problem of it... thanks to all of u, makes me not to get worried about it.

No worries. I have read this is normal. My NOA1 date is May 4. I have the exact same issue you have... case not found, etc.
