ROC approved but No Green card

My Green card was approved 15 days ago by VSC, but I still have not received my card. I have talked to level 2 people in customer service and they say the card is not generated yet. I asked them to generate it, but they give the standard answer of wait for 30 days and nothing can be done by them. I have seen people who were approved after me and they have received their card.

What can be done to generate the card esp. from people who have been in similar situation? Can we talk to IO on the customer service line, would they be able to help?

Thanks

It's in the queue, just wait your turn. My wife's card was sent within 30 days of her landing in the US (CR-1), you can't jump the line...

Nobody in USCIS (tier 1 or tier 2) will help you until after 30 days, that's just the way they work.

Wait another 15 days and thne call them if it still hasn't come. If you need to travel, make an INFOPASS appt, and get a stamp in your passport.

Patience is a virtue.

You know your ROC has been approved, so that's great news. Try not to think about checking your mailbox every hour. I know it's difficult but if you focus on this every day, every waking hour, you'll be ending up in a state of insanity eventually.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.
