Ok, question..

Just got my NOA2 approval "sooner than expected", I sent out the I-129F in April... For some reason I was planning on it taking a lot longer seeing the processing times lately so I decided to have my Fiancee come stay with me in the U.S. again for the summer while we wait. She is here legally on a tourist Visa.

Now she isn't scheduled to go back home to her country until mid August.. Is there a deadline on getting this packet 3 returned to the embassy if she isn't even home for the next 6 weeks? Will they be trying to call her (because her phone won't work)? Or do they do everything by mail?

I can have her parents forward the packet to us here in the USA to fill out.. I know there's some things she will have to do in her country once she returns "police record" and such.. but not sure if it's ok to do the medical/immunization stuff in the USA while she is here???

thanks

With respect it would be best if you began a new post. This area is specific to Thailand.

Any responce would have little value to you because you are dealing with India. Tourist visas are difficult to get from many countries including India. Especially if you have a pending petition. Your fiancee will be asked if there is a pending petition. Study the strongest ties rule to determin if she can comply. I doubt they will issue her a tourist visa in this situation.

Above two posts have been split off from another thread as tourist visa requirements from India will be different so OP needs to have information specific to his circumstances

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

NOA2 is only valid for 4 months..Your NOA2 should have a date on it..so she needs to turn in her packet 3, packet 4, get her medical and both of the police clearance done before that..oh and the interview needs to be done before the 4 month expiration date.
