i did a fiance visa with my child but i told the uscis to add my child? do i need to submit anything for k-2?

#1) You did a fiancee visa or you are in the process of doing a fiancee visa?

#2) You will need to submit a k-2 visa application to the consulate at the proper time. (answer depends on #1 above)

YMMV

would both k1 and k2 get approved at the same time after the interview? or does the k-2 take longer

Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? Is this your biological child we're talking about here?
