You can file an expedite, but unless your case is one of USCIS describe in their possibilities of expedite, they will deny it. You should put in a service request over the phone, and try to talk to a Tier 2 agent, and find out if your case is in adjudication...

I know you might hear this a lot, but we all need to be patient, there are people who is waiting 7 or 8 months, we (I am over the 3mo mark) are in between the timeframe.

I hope you get your NOA2 soon. Best wishes!

I am in the same boat as you; I called this morning and the Tier2 Agent told me that they are working on January petitions and specifically January 16th and advised to wait maybe another week to call back. I know it's a lie because I have seen people with much later than mine such March that has bee approved. She also said one can call after it's over the 5 month period so they can send service request and intend on doing that on Monday. It seems the light is almost at the end of the tunnel. Just hang in there it will be real SOON! At least that's my hope.

From the Igor's List, VSC is working on Februaury’s applicants. Probably there will be some remnants from the previous months and you could be one of them.

GOOD LUCK

If you have a VERY GOOD reason why you need an expedite, yes you should file it. Like for example a medical issue from the petitioner, civil war etc. If you dont, you just have to be patient and wait and wait and wait and wait..........!

Good Luck
