Hello Experts:

i Just wanted to ask, how long i have to wait after my case completed at NVC. i call them today and the operater told me that my case has been compeleted on June 17th of this year and waiting for interview call due to high volume interviews in Islamabad. Can Someone please Help me. Thank You

It truly varies from embassy to embassy.

For example in london I had case complete june 10th and interview booked of july 29th. Some countries can have wait times of upto one year, so it all varies. You should hear something soon though.

Total time from posting I-130 to VISA in hand 7 months 21 days :D

In Canada: Case complete May 20th - Interview Scheduled: July 19th, notified June 14th of interview date.

Is different for other countries....

Marriage 2010-10-09

I-130 Sent : 2010-10-12

I-130 NOA1 : 2010-10-20

I-130 Approved : 2011-03-31

NVC Received : 2011-04-13

Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill : 2011-04-22

Pay I-864 Bill 2011-04-22

Receive I-864 Package : 2011-04-26

Return Completed I-864 : 2011-05-03

Return Completed DS-3032 : 2011-05-01

Receive IV Bill : 2011-04-27

Pay IV Bill : 2011-04-27

Receive Instruction Package : 2011-04-29

Case Completed at NVC : 2011-05-20

Interview Date Montreal : 2011-07-19

Interview Result : Approved

POE Coutts, Ab : 2011-07-29

I-751 Sent : May 01, 2013

Early Biometrics : May 28, 2013

Since you are in Pakistan, then it makes absolutely no difference what people are answering about their UK and Canadian consulates, and I'm not going to bore you with the typically quick turnarounds for Costa Rica. In the meantime, do a little bit of work on your own at this link:

The link will give an idea on time line from NOA2 (USCIS Approval) to Interview. Since different people take different times in submitting the DS-230/ I-864 documents, it doesn't give a realistic idea on the timeline between NVC completion and Interview dates - it is 166 days for Pakistan. Check this link http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/irstats.php?cfl=$cfl and look for Pakistan. You can also open a link seeking Pakistani friends input - from thos that got their interview dates.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

my case is completed on June 9. But I haven't received notification about that, nor package 4, nor interview date. :crying:

USCIS

2010-06-28 : I-130 sent

2010-07-01 : NOA1

2011-03-01 : I-130 RFE

2011-03-14 : I-130 RFE sent

2011-03-28 : I-130 Approved

NVC

2011-04-14 : NVC Received

2011-05-07 : Received DS-3032

2011-05-08 : Return completed DS-3032 (email)

2011-05-08 : Pay I-864 Bill

2011-05-11 : Pay IV Bill

2011-05-14 : Sent completed I-864

2011-05-26 : Sent IV package (DS-230 & required documents)

2011-06-09 : Case completed

2011-06-28 : Got interview date by call NVC

2011-06-29 : Got email Interview Date for August 23
