Hi Everyone,

Our NOA2 came in on June 8th. My embassy is located in Montreal. My fiance mentioned that I need to call the consulate to get the new case number is it true? I am a bit confused about the whole process. Does package 3 come in the mail automatically or do I have to contact somebody. Please let me know!!

Thanks!!

NVC is National Visa Centre, there's information on contacting them here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

The Canada regional forum has a lot of threads about the Montreal process and how to speed it up as much as possible, I recommend checking out down there, too! :)http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/93-canada/

Thanks for the helpful link. Our case reached Montreal on June 17th and we have a new case number. I'll call DOS tomorrow. Since the office has closed now.
