Hi bogoss,

Congratultions!!!!   very happy for you!! Do you mind sharing when did you apply?

thank you and good luck with the rest of the process :star:

Than you so much!

Well i filed on July 20 2010, i received my prima facie 7 days later, havent heard from them til May 2011 when they asked me for more evidence on abuse and to explain an arrest i had 5 years ago. I responded explaining the facts surrounding the arrest and deffending good moral character with some volunteering i did during Hurricanes etc... I had a strong case. I responded to the RFE the second week of June and a month later (July 20th 2011) i received an email saying it was approved. Im so thankful and blessed! GOD BLESS AMERICA, JUSTICE WAS SERVED... I STRUGGLED A LOT but now im thankful, i hope it all finishes up well as it is not over yet.

Hi guys, I just registered on the website but have been checking this message board regurlaly as a guest for a while. I filed my VAWA case on the 29th of November 2010 and have only received a prima facie since then. No touches, RFEs or anything. So I wrote Vermont a letter inquiring about my case and wanted to share the answer they gave me wity you guys so that some of you that are still waiting can relax a little bit knowing what is going on. They sent me the letter July 13 saying that they were working on cases from October 29 2010 and that meant that my case was about 1 to 2 months away from being adjudicated. So everyone that mailed their papers to Vermont at the end of last year should be getting an answer from them in the next couple months I would say. Hope this is helpful to some of you. Have a great day!

IF you are in removal proceedings then USCIS will not have jurisdiction on your Adjustment. Even you have I360 approved you can be interviewed but Unless your court proceeding are termintated your jurisdiction of I485 will still be with court. Therefore Court either has to terminate the proceedings and put you under regular proceedings so that you can adjust in front of USCIS officer or Court can adjust you. Your attorney is taking the approach of adjusting you in front of USCIS officer. That case court may not have long time window so they can adjust you. court will terminate your proceedings and you will adjusted on interview with USCIS officer.

how are u?plse can u tell me how ur interview went.what did they ask u?plse into details, thank u very much. :help::help::help::help::help:

Could someone please tell me what i should do next lol? Approved I-360, do i have for an I-485 with brand new medicals etc...? if yes, which service center do i send it to? Also, how long do you think it will take before getting an interview? How does the interview go?

Thanks

If you never filled an I-485 with you I-360.

You will better of filling a new I-485 and it goes to Vermont service center. I try using my old I-1485 but is too much hassle and almost impossible from what my local office told me. For the interview it all depends on your local office how busy they are. My filled for new I-485 last month the only thing I got so far is receipt.

Im doing all right thanks .

if you have interview of adjust status ,is better to go by your self .because if you take someone with you will turn the interviewer think u have a probleme ,because always when we hear lawyer is mean probleme .if the officer see you alone will judge thet application on spot that u are confidence eligible .that why u come alone ,the officer not allowed to ask you about vawa or what hapened ,the question will be just the no question on form .and your name .;etter of employment .and medical exams .that all if you have any charge prepare your self to hand out the court disposition so dont think about vawa its already approved and its hard to convaince vsc to change decision. so only if the officer find out your previous form i-485 not have same information on the new form of i-485 both should match .im always give what i learn 7 years ago .u better go by ur self the officer will be more confortable to see you without attorney .just think .if attorney with you that mean u have probleme with ur case .if u go by ur self that mean a lots to the interviewr that your elligible that why you dont need attorney .

my case curently is reviewed by supervisor local office .i dont know if good or bad singe .i dont know why my case decition is delayed

Mr. XXXXX ,

Please see status of your case below

I will be following up in 30 daysThank you

This is the new case where they were interviewed in XXX and needed to submit the medical. I checked the file. The officer gave them until XX XX , 2011, to submit their response to the request for evidence. Their response is in the file. I will let the officer know this, but she does have several continued cases pending review that are older than this one. We generally work cases chronologically

How long? His EAD card is about to expire

I cannot say he did file an I-765 earlier this month, but the National Benefits Center rejected it and returned it to him
