Hello all, been a few years since I've been on this site and path. What is the average time from submitting forms to approved citizenship? Also, my wife came in on K1 and we immediately got married. The 3 year rule is still in effect? In other words can she apply for citizenship now? Thanks! :thumbs:

4/27/07: NOA2

5/01/07: NOA2 Hardcopy received

5/10/07: Approval arrives at NVC

Yes, she can apply, it's been over 3 years since she got her GC.

Not sure about average time, depends on the office and godknowswhatelse. I've been waiting for 4 months now, no interview letter yet. Some people are done in under 3 months.

it's 3 years (minus 90 days) from the date written on your wife's greencard. From your timeline, for example, say they approval date is the same as the date of issuance of the card. Then you're wife has been eligible to file N400 since 10/23/2010.

Short answer: she's eligible now.

Wife's I-130:

03/15/2019 NOA1 (Nebraska Service Center)

02/11/2020 Case transferred to Vermont Service Center

02/02/2021 NOA2 الحمد لله

02/04/2021 Approval email
02/12/2022 NVC documents submitted
