AOS from L-1B vs. travelling

Have a question like this - if I come to US on L-1B (which - per everything I read so far - is dual intent), get married and apply for AOS, would I be able to travel based on my L-1B (which is going to be valid till 2014 at least) or do I have to apply for AP with AOS ?

Is there any chance I will have a problem with re-entry during AOS, trying to enter with L-1B ?

You can travel on L visa with AOS pending. The only other visa you can do that with is H1B.
