Evidence Question for ROC

1) Do we have to send in copies of bills and statements for the entire period(eg: 2years) or can we skip months in between. The reason why I am asking is that in most cases, I have to download statements for each individual month and if I start attaching all of them, i probably will need a box and my file surely be a few hundred pages, which i feel the USCIS examiner won't appreciate. I tried finding ways where I could have single statements that would carry the entire year end periods, but in most cases its not possible. Any suggestions?

2) Can I use binder clips?

Appreciate your responses. Thank you in advance.

Hi!

It's good to have a sampling of bills throughout the 2-yr period. I'd just sample it though, no need to have ALL your bills. As far as how to package it, most people do the 2-hole punch on top with an ACCO fastener. I just clipped it all together with a clip myself.

Good luck... I'm sure everything will be fine for you but I understand the uneasiness of it. We're all going through the same.

I used 3-4 bank statements per year from 2008-2010 and 3-4 per year of each utility bill from 2007-2010.

I didn't use any clips or anything, figured they would separate the piles based on their filing system and bind them together as they wanted. I do think I might have included too many things, mine was about 130 pages and now that I read other people's lists I see I included unnecessary things.

It seems it's not quantity which I originally thought, but quality.

I agree with just a sampling, not every bill or statement. To cut down on paper, I also sent only the first page (showing both names and a date) and not every page. That includes sending only the first page of joint tax transcripts. It's not about the bill or the whole tax return that counts, but the joint names.

Thank you all for taking time out and making it more clearer for me. Have less than a month and just want to collect it all before hand so that I don't panic when its time to send.
