RFE and SIF

Anyone ever get a SIF (sign-in Failed) and later get an RFE? Or does SIF mean that all docs are in good order?

You can get emails asking for checklist letter response after SIF. Best thing to do is call and ask an operator what the case status is. You should be case complete in just a day or two after SIF.

For clarity, call NVC, get a Human, inquire for casefile status.

Is there anything else at sign in that you will see besides paid status?? Is the next step SIF.. NVC received my ducoments 6-3 on 6-10 they were still in the mail room lol. All I have seen for 2 weeks is piad AOS and Paid IV.. Just wondering if there is another step???????

at the portal, after you've a 'paid' status - you can then download the coversheets. IMO, that's about it, at the portal.

an indication of 'SIF' usually tags the casefile status as 'case complete', but there's a final review after that, with lobbing into the appointment schedule queue right after.

Thanks, I called this morning. They told me case is complete and awaiting an August interview date happy and sad all at the same time. I was praying for July.
