I BELIEVE IVE ASKED THIS BEFORE BUT ON QUESTION 18 ON DS156 THOUGH IM ONLY HER FIANCE AND SHES APPLYING FOR K1 VISA DO I PUT MYSELF AS HER SPOUSE?? HER MARITAL STATUS IS SINGLE OF COURSE. I AM THE PETITIONER AND ON EVERY FORM DO I REFER MYSELF AS HER SPOUSE THO NOT TECHNICALLY MARRRIED ONLY ENGAGED??

08-25-2011- Packet 4 Received (Interview day:09-08-2011)

09-08-2011- Interview (APPROVED)

09-13-2011- Visa Received (It took only 3 business days)

09-22-2011- POE

09-23-2011- My baby's B-day!

AOS

11-18-2011- We got married!

01-20-2012- AOS package sent

01-23-2012- AOS package received by USCIS

01-27-2012- NOA1 (email)

02-01-2012- NOA 1 (Hard-Copy Received)

02-07-2012- Biometrics Appointment Notice Received

02-13-2012- Email saying case was transferred to another office(Waiting for the hard copy to see where it was sent)

02-17-2012- Hard-Copy received- AOS transferred to CSC

02-21-2012- Biometrics Appointment-

03-13-2012- Biometrics Retaken due to they didn't take right my fingerprints.

You are filing for a K-1. You are not married. She does not have a spouse. Follow the example form the person posted the link to above.

"Not technically married"?? You are not married. So you do not have a spouse.

You will see from the above link: Q37 there is option to select that you are her fiance.

05-2010 I-129F application received by USCIS.

05-2010 NOA1 received.

07-2010 NOA2 received.

07-2010 Packet 3 received.

08-2010 Packet 3 returned.

09-2010 Medical in London.

10-2010 Interview at US Embassy in London: Approved.

10-2010 POE Newark, NJ.

11-2010 Married in Vermont.

03-2011 Notice of acceptance of AOS packet.

03-2011 Biometrics appointment in St Albans.

03-2010 Case transfered to California Service Centre.

04-2011 I-485 Approved.
