Hi, I called today, June 14th and finally got an interview date for Montreal on July 19th!!

Case was complete on May 20th

NOA was complete March 30, 2011

Sent in I130 on Oct 12th!

Now I can book my medical in Montreal, any ideas about what day? Do they book them all week or on specific days?

So happy that we can look forward to this next step.

Margie

Grats on finally getting the interview date! kicking.gif

For the medical, I'm not sure about Dr Seidens, but I went to Medisys and you can go anytime of the week. If I remember, the times are from 8am to 2pm. They were also very flexible with my appointment. I basically could choose whatever date and time I wanted. Not sure if they've gotten busier since April though.

Thanks Saylin, you have been most helpful in this journey, your posts are awesome. Hope you are enjoying your new home.

I think Medisys is my route too. My interview is on a Tuesday so I'm hoping to ge the medical on a Friday and Dr. Siedens only does them Mon-Wed. so the timing doesn't work as well.

I'm looking forward to this next step.

Have a great day!

Oh yes, I remember seeing Dr Seidens was only 3 days out of the week for medicals. I chose Medisys since they were cheaper. And it's always good to save money :D

If your appointment is on a Tuesday, then the results should be ready by that Friday. Mine was done on a Wednesday and they were ready on the Monday, although I only picked them up on Tuesday since I didn't have access to a car that Monday.

If you're interested, I wrote a review of my medical at Medisys on my blog. It might help you prepare :) Link here: http://journeythroughimmigration.blogspot.com/2011/04/medical-review.html
