Ok so my brother who is active Military is willing to sponsor my Fiancee, He is married but they are separated and do not live together how many people would he have to qualify for? The other problem is hes in the process of transferring out of the military, will this affect his ability to sponsor my Fiancee? Please tell me what will be required of him and do we go by the poverty guidelines for Active military or the regular Guidelines?

Also once my brother transfers out he may be getting 100% disability, does this help?

My Proposal to kristine!!! :)

Your prospective joint sponsor would have to meet the income guidelines in place for you. That is the 125% amount.

I honestly do not know if being separated will allow his wife not to be counted in household size.

I do not know if him leaving the military will matter, since he will be in the military at the time he co-sponsors, yes? He will only need to send his last 3 years tax transcripts, letter from employer, and pay stubs. There is some letter and pay statements those in the military use for this purpose, you can ask about that.

He will need to go by the 125% guideline. The 100% is for those in the military sponsoring a spouse or child.
