There isn't one central site. Do you know where the people got married? You could check local newspapers online.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Where can I find marriage and divorce records?

For marriage and divorce records contact:

DC Superior Court, 500 Indiana Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20001

(Room 4335 for Divorce Decree or Room 4485 for marriage license)

Marriage information (202) 879-4840 Divorce Information (202) 879-1261

If the marriage took place elsewhere they won't have a copy of the information. You need to go to the vital statistics department for the County/State in which the marriage took place. No one really keeps track of people's marital status - but they do keep the records related to that in the place where the event occurred.
